Episode 32: What’s Your Name?

Having a stage name makes it easy for being to connect with you after the show, it helps people find you. Using your real name could help people find you also…but in more of a creepy, stalker sort of way.

A stage name is similar to a pen name for an author. It is your brand and how people will be able to remember you. When choosing your name you will want to spend some time giving it thought, don’t just pick it on a whim. Make it mean special, make it mean something. You will also do well to ensure it is easy to spell so when people try to connect with you they do not have to try 30 different version of what they think your name is. Pick a name that you will not have to change in 5-10 years.

Episode 31: Share Your Dreams

One of the things you learn as a coach is the best methods of helping people hold themselves accountable while pursuing their passion. It is so easy to give up if no one knows what you are doing

Sharing your Dreams with the people that are closest with you will help hold you accountable simply because they will ask about it. Just knowing other people are waiting to see what you can accomplish is enough to push you to do more, rehearse more, make more phone calls. Share you performing passion with everyone you can because they will help push you to new heights and they will be the ones to celebrate with you when you are successful.
