I’ve said it before, when you step on stage your persona allows you to be the truest version of yourself. That’s a pretty scary thought sometimes. So how do you pick what to let out?
Building your stage persona will take time and reflection. You can start by emulating those you look up to. Observe who they are on stage and how they present themselves. Take one thing….just one and start there. Add the pieces of you that are the most true and raw. This is where reflection comes in. You have to look deep and figure out the part of you that you are most afraid to show and bring that out. Then you have to have confidence…or at least your persona does. Then you step into that character and viola! Stage Persona.
