Expressing gratitude is sign of respect, humility, and professionalism that even some celebrities have yet to display. There are a lot of people that make it possible for you to be on that stage and they deserve your gratitude.
Starting with your audience. Without them you would not have a stage to stand on. They are your primary people to show your thanks. Doing something as simple as saying thank you will go further with your audience than anything you do on stage. It is also important to thank the individuals that made it possible for you to perform; the booking agent, the owner of the venue, the promoter. Finally other people working and/or entertaining in the same show. That includes the bartenders, DJ, other entertainers. So many people are deserving of your thanks and giving it to them will make them respect you and be more apt to support your career in the future.
With that I also thank you for listening and subscribing to the Being On Stage Podcast.
